Why was my order was taken away from me?
At dlivrd, our goal is to match professional delivery drivers (earning partners) with high value opportunities at restaurants (catering partners). There are two steps that earning partners must take to properly begin an order: Responding to the confirmation text and swiping start in the mobile app.
Text Message Confirmation
About one hour before your scheduled pickup time, you will receive an automatic text message from 58973, confirming your order. The message will look like this:
If you do not respond “YES” within 15 minutes, your order will be removed and offered to other earning partners. We do this to ensure that no order ends up abandoned.
If you miss your confirmation, please contact us right away. You can either call or text 1-844-515-2932. Assuming the order has not been given to a new earning partner, the agent can reassign it for you.
If you do not confirm your order and do not contact us, a “No Call No Show” ticket will be added to your profile. Abandoning orders results in cancellations and customer refunds, which puts dlivrd’s relationship with our catering partners at risk. To protect our catering partners, earning partners with multiple “No Call No Show” tickets will have their accounts deactivated.
Swiping Start in the App
30 minutes before the pickup time of your delivery it is best to open the app and swipe start on the pickup task. Be sure your calendar is set for the right day when you open the app. If you don’t swipe start, someone from the dlivrd team will reach out to remind you. It is important to swipe start on the pickup task ahead of time so that restaurant partners have peace of mind that their food is going to be in good hands with you.
THIS VIDEO shows how to use the app, including swiping start.
If you fail to swipe start on an order, it is possible it is removed and offered to other drivers. We do this to ensure that no orders end up abandoned. If your order is removed, please contact us right away. You can either call or text 1-844-515-2932. Assuming the order has not been given to a new earning partner, the agent can reassign it for you.
Thank you for understanding the importance of these two items!
