Completing the Delivery Task

Upon arrival at the customer location, refer to delivery task in your app for the customer’s directions of who to contact or direction of where to meet the customer. If there are no notes and you are unsure of where to go, simply press the phone symbol and the call will direct you to the customer. The customer will be more likely to recognize you if you state that you are there with food from the restaurant name from which you picked up the food. Additionally, customers can be difficult to reach at times. If you find that you are having an issue reaching the customer, text delivery support at 1-844-515-2932.

Once you have met with the customer and set up the order you will upload a picture of the food setup in the required field – please make sure to include as much of the food as possible in the photo for context. Every order is assumed to be a set up unless the customer specifies otherwise, which would be noted as drop off instead of “setup with customer” in the app. Set up simply means to remove the food from bags and lay it out, so it is ready for the customer to enjoy. In the rare case that the customer is requesting a more elaborate setup, all equipment needed will be provided by the restaurant.

You will not be able to complete the delivery task without adding at least one image. It is best to do this via the camera on your phone and then uploading to the dlivrd app. You can learn more about proof of delivery pictures here. Be sure to swipe that the delivery was successful before you leave the location to complete tracking and properly process your payment.
