Parking is typically not covered, and is considered to be a part of the task. There are certain situations where me may be able to compensate a portion of the costs, but these are evaluated on a case by case basis by the finance team. If a driver is unable to pickup or deliver an order without paying for parking (i.e. a restaurant or customer in a mall where the only parking option is a paid garage) we may be able to cover 50% of the cost.
- ask the driver to text a picture of their parking receipt and create a post in the Payments and Adjustments channel in Slack explaining the situation and asking if we are able to cover any of the expense. Add the picture of the receipt in the thread.
